Brief Overview

With decades of experience in hospitality financial management, Focus is recognized for our services and expertise nationwide. Our services are a direct result of working with internal hotel accounting departments and CPA firms who specialize in hospitality.

FOCUS E-Z includes complete accounts payable, general ledger, and financial/statistical reporting. We provide our services daily through close communication with your property.

Our services also include daily backups and storage of your data files plus 24/7 access to the Focus Dropbox.

Weekly Accounts Payable Processing

Our data processing team processes all invoices and checks for your property. System generated checks are delivered electronically for printing and signatures. Our accounts payable system is directly interfaced to our general ledger. Vendor administration and recurring payables are also included.

PMS Business Processing and Weekly Banking

Our general ledger interfaces directly with most popular property management systems. Each day’s night audit summary is recorded in the Focus general ledger. All weekly bank deposits of cash and checks along with any withdrawals are verified and recorded.

Monthly Processing

The Focus general ledger interfaces directly with most popular payroll service providers. Payroll summaries for the month are departmentalized and recorded. State and local taxes, monthly accruals, mortgages, and recurring standard entries are recorded. Bank and credit card statements are reconciled. Preliminary financials are prepared for accounting review.

For decades the Focus staff have worked with key hoteliers throughout the United States in developing our financial/statistical reporting packages. With only one industry in mind, we’ve had the unique opportunity to have insight from hundreds of owners, operators, CPA firms, and lending institutions in designing our reports.

The Focus library is extensive and most of our reports are available in multiple formats. All of our reports are available to our clients and we consult with them from the beginning to ensure we have the right reporting package in place to meet their needs. Focus also custom develops reports when needed throughout our client relationships.
